Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This team would have a good injection of youth, and would also be competitive. All 4 lines would be rolled pretty evenly (the 4th line would get over 10 minutes a game, usually). The defensive pairings would also be rolled through. I think with appropriate coaching, that Athanasiou can hit 50+ points and Rasmussen/Svechnikov can each hit 40. Team is pretty close to the cap but its likely that Kronwall will retire at the end of the season. Nyquist won't get close to 4.75M again (4M at most). When Zetterberg retires (he may play another year), his salary can be moved so we can afford Svech and Rassy.

Move your salary cap to like 80,000,000. I like everything but the Carlson signing. Yeah, he’s great, but he played first line power play with a stacked PP line. He’s hit 40 points 1 time in his career before this year. I would only sign him for 6 at the most.

Dude? Get serious no way are we buying out both Ericsson and Abdelkader that's 4 years and 10 years respectively tied up in dead money. A rebuilding team can't afford to have that much dead money tied up plus still have 3 years left on the Weiss contract as well. And i'm pretty much sure that you can only buy out one player at a time. No way is Holland buying out his guy Abdelkader.
