No from both trade partners.

Also that’s way too much for Niemi

If we go into next season with 14M$ in cap space AND 14M$ in goaltending... I'm going to lose it!!!

Froese gets you absolutely nothing in a trade.

I'm all for trading away the 4 players you propose (and I would put Alzner in that group too), but they don't get you bodies back. They get you late round draft picks. If you eat up some of their salary, you get maybe a 4th for each of the other three. I take that back. Shaw might get you a little more, but you'll need to eat salary.

best thing we can do with our cap space is take bad contracts with 1 year remaining from teams with cap issues and make them give us picks or young players.
Orpik, Martin, Hagelin are the names that comes to my mind.

I wouldn't be against that, but only if we get Dahlin. Dahlin will be "good enough" next season, but he'll be a stud in 3-4 years. Plan around that time span.

Nah mate no need to wait 3-4 years if we do get Dahlin. Guys like that are dominant already in their second-third years in the NHL so for me next year we give him time to get comfortable in the NHL while we add youth by trading vets like Patches, Byron, Petry, maybe Weber so when 19-20 comes around, we are already competitive for the many years to come.
