Brodie to EDM

Created by: Tkachinla
Team: 2018-19 Calgary Flames
Initial Creation Date: May 21, 2018
Published: May 21, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
CGY trades the most tradable piece of their Top 4 to shake things up and create space for Valimaki, Andersson, Kylington, etc. to compete, while also freeing up cap space to make a move for more scoring depth.

At #10, CGY has a great chance at an excellent player sliding down from the top 6.

----------------------------

EDM gets a proven Top 4 dman on a great contract in his prime (turns 28 this summer). His best hockey was played on the right side, meaning he's a good fit to pair with Nurse, Klefbom, or even Larsson if he plays LD.

most trades like this never happen between Provincial or State rivals, even with that, why do they trade for another LHD? Who didn’t have a great year at that.

I don't see why Canucks would do that trade. I wouldn't do it for a 7th round pick.
