Detroit won't scratch Kronwall and Ericsson. You'd have to give more for Hanifin. He may not be popular in Carolina at the moment but he's a former fifth overall pick and likely they won't be ready to give him up that easily.

David Pope will probably be in the AHL to start the season and maybe a player that gets called up if there are any injuries. Sulak still has a while before he makes the jump to the NHL. Puempel would probably be on the third line instead of Abdelkader because it would fit a third line scoring line better.

You're at least a million short on both Larkin and Mantha's contracts, Noah Hanifin will get closer to $5 million per you're way under-paying him. And that deal isn't even close to landing you Hanifin either.

That deal is more than what Canes Country had us trading them. Evgenys value increases significantly because we have him and aren't actively shopping him but that's the guy they want. For a guy we aren't actively shopping and having them receive the brother of a franchise caliber player in Andrei, I think Evgenys value is whatever we want. People have to remember they Canes don't have the upper hand in this situation even if its for Hanifin because they're buying something that isn't for sale.

No way that gets a Hanifin deal done. 6OA would be the starting point.
