This doesn't take into account the 2018 NHL draft. I don't see the Red WIngs going after any big name UFAs. I didn't tender an offer to AA, as I don't see the Red WIngs bringing him back. They'll trade his rights or he'll head overseas.

Not far off from reality... I also don't see the need for a UFA signing unless its for a backup goalie (which you have) or John Tavares (which sounds like he might stay put with Lou under control). Ouellet will most likely be gone too in my opinion. Good stuff.

It pains me to see the Wings this bad. Hopefully, we can right the ship in the next five years or so. I hope we can unload Ouellet, but he just isn't worth anything. Maybe Montreal will take him, they love their French players.

Holland will resign AA even if it's a sign and trade kind of deal it would be more leverage for Detroit. I can see AA in Edmonton maybe for maybe one of Caleb Jones or Ethan Bear and a pick.
