I think NYR took Namestnikov to build around from TB so I don't see him going anywhere.
Zucc could get a little more or will be part of a trade with more pieces.
I like the Janmark offer sheet but Dallas WILL match that, plus GMs don't ever offer sheet players.

Spooner Boston is not a 10-20 pick.
Spooner NYR might be b/c 25 yrs old, 20GP, 16pts translates to 64 points. That would have lead the rangers and this is what GM's are thinking about, finding hidden gems, change of scenery scenarios, i.e. Vegas. I think Vegas has changed the game like Oakland A's and money ball. People will look and value things differently now. Every GM in the NHL was embarrassed by mcphee. Hockey is too conservative. Everyone has done the same for years. Same recycled coaches, players, etc...

A second round pick for a 1st line guy is not much to give up for NYR. We could go for $4M for janmark with same compensation. But also, this is a dream scenario. just spit balling.

Went back and looked at a comparison of Spooner and Namestikov.
Actually, they are very comparable in terms of sample size.
Spooner GP 273, G 45, A, 113, Pts 158, PTS/GM 0.58 (Avg. Season 47 pts)
Namestikov, GP 282, G 55, A 72, Pts 127, PTS/GM 0.45 (Avg. Season 37pts)

I take it back. Spooner is actually more valuable considering he out produces Namestikov, is a year younger, and arguably has played further down in the lineup.
