Description
These are some bold moves but I think they're relatively fair. Trade Staal while the value is there. Coyle to center, as well as Ek to wing have both been speculated lately. Kunin, Soucy, Belpedio, and Sokolov will all get looks throughout the season.

- Overpaid for Trocheck, but I would argue that's pretty close to what it would take. I expect Toronto fans to scream that it's not even, but he's the perfect RHD they're looking for. Carolina's 2nd rounder is essentially a 1st.

I think this really works. The Faulk vs. Dumba thing is a little hard for me but if Dumba gets us Nylander and we can get Faulk for that I think I would be in. If you moved a reasonable amount of guys to the AHL the salary would work and the long term outlook is solid. I think you could get Nylander more term, I like the Brodziak signing (can't believe im saying that) but I would hope a young guy takes that spot during camp first, hopefully Kunin.

Agreed, I love Dumba but it would be worth it. And yeah I kept some of those guys on the roster for name's sake. A little extra cap space would be great. Also I'd love to have Kunin ready to go straight out of camp, but I would be almost surprised if management doesn't give him time in Iowa to continue rehab/actually play again.
