i dont think mccann is gonna be the guy that turns this team into a cup contender but i do think if everyone progresses the way it seems they are this team could contend and mccann would be a good 3C , so yeah i like this. hopefully liljegren can take a step and maybe after the trade deadline come and play 3RD instead of hainsey and maybe have a rotation between hainsey and marincin

The Martin Marincin signing will not happen and doesn't make sense. Babcock does not like his game at all - he makes too many mistakes and is not physical. Why commit him to a contract, when he's only going to be in the AHL for the rest of his career?

A stabilizing 2nd and 3rd pairing is needed for the Leafs, and some players in their current roster may need to move down/around the lineup. Hainsey will not reproduce what he did this season, so Dubas will likely need to be aggressive in the off-season to get a top 4 defenceman. The Leafs were 28th against in shots allowed this season, and that volume of shots will only hurt Andersen's ability to play 60+ games each year.

Ik but marincin is an nhl calabire defencemn who doesn’t let shots happen

i think instead of trading for a center or signing a center, why not make willy a center and sign or trade for a winger. They are much cheaper
