$6M for a guy whose 35 and hasn't played in years?! thats ridiculous, Too much money spent on offense when we have a ton of prospects and in addition the top 6 should not be touched

-kovie's going to get at least 6+ x 3 years from someone ; Isles are apparently in the mix which allows them some flex to trade for quality D .

-kovie in for lee (traded for hamilton) is the only change I made to the top 6 ! Kovie is 35 but I bet he gets up and down the ice faster than Lee .

Only problem I see here is you essentially have to trade Ebs to resign Bennett, Beau and have money for Barzal next year, assuming the cap doesnt increase again. Maybe you can get someone to take Clutterbuck if we retain but I hate to have to buy him out and have that dead money on the books.
