Come the 2019 draft, this package won't mean a lot to Carolina, it'd be better if the Chicago 1st from this year was sent the other way

........Maybe

If we're Packaging our 2 biggest trade assets together we'd want Brandon Saad in the equation.

Signing Derek Ryan out from underneath us hurts too

Keep Duclair and your 2019 first, add Saad and we'll give you our second (maybe, would need to sleep on it)

Anisimov, forsberg, prospect, 8OA? Hawks would probably consider something like that

Yeah didnt think about ryan being a cane too. Wouldnt necessarily have to be him, hawks just need a decent 3C if they move anisimov

Why would you want an overpaid power forward coming off his worst year yet? The canes should keep away from Saad, which saves them money to get Ryan back and ask for the 8th OVR pick from this year. It makes more sense

Saads contract isnt bad but I dont think Bowman wants to sell low on him after a down year

So Saad had 1 bad year, which one of the Blackhawks didn't have a bad year? I apparently have a higher value of Saad than you do (as a pens fan and a canes fan I've seen a lot of him over the years) but putting that aside

What is your honest valuation of the 8th overall pick

Because Skinner alone is not worth the 8th, Faulk alone is not worth the 8th

So what are you taking off the board? It can't be anisimov given the cap issue in CHI

6mil for a guy who hasn't eclipsed 60 points?? Come on, there are better and cheaper options available on the market

Consistent 50 point guy, top pk unit on a cup team, plays physical but is still the fastest guy on the team. He does more than just put up points, id say worth no less than 5 mil

But that is overlooked and his point totals are the main point of discussion, IMO, he's worth 4mil

points=/=money. Hes also exactly the type of player canes should be looking for, gritty and strong on the puck. Dont think theyd have any problem taking him at 6mil, I just dont think Bowman will get the value he wants for him after this down year

Faulk is an all around defenseman that is valued so much higher than you think. He can QB a PP and play the PK. He is insanely built for all situations.. Skinner over his career averages 35 goals a year. You are not even near the value. Then you make it a 2019 1st? Blow me. This is horrible. Forsberg is ass, Anisimov is okay but not good enough, and Duclair has done nothing over his career so far. You’re drunk if you think this is accurate
