Description

Pipe dream. I know it probably will not happen. I get it's the typical leafs talk that happens every year for the big name free agent. Just trying to show the salary cap may not be as big of an issue as everyone thinks.

May run in to issues in 20/21 when resigning Dermott, and Liljegren, but the cap will likely be at 83 - 86 million by 2021.

If my cap hit is off on the big 3 + tavares, then you would probably look at trading Brown /Hyman, or even Kadri, with Nylander sliding to centre.

Fair point, but if he doesn't actually play that season, does he care who pays him?
