That's an absurd amount for JT. Make it 11.5 and give the other JT 5m.

I don't think he signs with the Sharks for 11.5M. They are going to need to sweeten the pot to lure him from NYI, for two reasons: Need to make up for that 8th year that NYI can offer, and needs to top their offer in general since he is more likely to stay there.

Jumbo has already stated he's taking a pay cut to make things work. That leads me to believe he'll sign for about 3-3.5M. To be honest, he needs his minutes reduced this year, so if he wants 5M I think you stick with Tierney and let Jumbo walk. He's my favorite player, so I really hope that doesn't happen.

I'm hoping the sharks can sign JT for less than 14M, but really don't think it can happen. This is a roster that I think we should go with if that is indeed the cost we would have to pay.
