I guess the question is whether this team is truly better then the one you have right now,considering you need a roster of 24 players and you are already over the cap, which means probably no Kadri and either one less contract on the wing or on defense i.e Nylander, Rielly. This team would have to go through what Chicago has been going through every year and dump good players for nothing. Not sure investing 40M on 2 centers and 2 wingers is wise and that is if Mathiews actually signs for 11 and not 12.5 like McDavid and Tavares for 12 and Nylander and Marner for 7 M each. i think the only way this may work is if you bridge the 2 wingers Marner and Nylander and see whether those 2 players remain with the team longer term after the 2 year period.
