Description

Islanders need LD. In one move, they bolster their depth for this year with the shot blocking Gunnarsson, and beyond with the offensive-minded Walman, while gaining a depth C.

Blues get a crease clearing monster for 7th D. This ensures the Blues' rookie defensemen can continue developing in San Antonio, rather than riding pine in StL--and it clears some salary for Edmundson to get a reasonable deal.
