I think Edmundsons game is much more developed then DeMelo's I would switch him with Schmaltz to be more accurate.

Also Fabbri and Tierney are hard to compare but I see why you did it with age, but think Fabbri if healthy will be much better than Tierney.

I agree but I think Edmundson is closer to the value than Schmaltz, as Schmaltz barely has NHL experience. I think Foley is probably less valuable than Norris which helps balance it. And with Edmundson it's still a good deal

Yeah I understand the thought. Just think Demelo is somewhere between Schmaltz and Eddy, but do not know anything about those two prospects that the sharks gave up.

DeMelo isn't very good and Edmundson is a top 4 defender. Definitely not comparable.

More like Jaskin + Schmaltz + Foley + Blais + the picks.

Schmaltz has 22 games of NHL experience and DeMelo has 133. The Blues don't have a player that compares well with DeMelo, and considering the trade is for Karlsson, I'd lean towards including a higher value player like Edmundson. The return for Karlsson was already cheap, you can't cheapen it more as Jaskin, Schmaltz, and Foley are all less valuable than their Sharks counterpart.
