      No sane GM would trade Semin for Spaling AND retain half his salary. That's insane. Carolina would get a measly 1.3M in cap savings and a far worse player.

      Also a sought-after player like Rychel is not going to be had for a career AHL-er like Ruopp. The Yakupov trade is pretty unlikely too, though not as unrealistic as the others. I'd definitely make that trade.
