I realized after doing the first one that I was too focused on the cap space.

Very happy to take chance on 24 year old Wennberg... prime years and signed for reasonable $$ , and great deal if he regains form...

Seems like alot for Clb to give, but they may view as cap dump.

My thinking behind it was. Columbus wants to win now. Rangers will probably want a nice young center. Since they have Boone and Dubinsky (which the Dubinsky contract would be very hard to move). The jackets would have more cap space for Dubios and Panarin and Duchene and Wennberg wouldn't be relegated to stay on the 3rd. It would be giving up a little bit more on the side of new york but if they want to win now they gotta.
