Description

I know that Bergevin does not want to trade his prospects and that Ottawa is a rival team but Stone would be a perfect fit for Montreal and they have the prospects and the picks that Ottawa wants so why not.

First with a contract extension Stone would be a key part in the short term and long term because he is only 26 years old.

The habs has a lot of space in the cap space for the next season to sign him too.

And Stone could bring goals and help the power play.

Too much for UFA at the end of season.
MTL isn't a cup contender this year.
Just wait 1st july to try to have him free.
