This is what i feel the lines should be for the rest of the year, in the last game and a half of having Nylander with Mathews you could already see they are getting back to their old selves now that Nylander is finally up to speed, his scoring isn't quite there but they are creating lots of chances. i have nothing against Kapanen i just feel like him and Johnson just cant get the puck to Mathews the way Nylander can. too many opportunities I've seen where they would have a great break and the guys just cant make the play, they try and either miss him with a pass or don't get it through.

3rd pairing on d is horrendous not a fan, just there until Gardiner and Dermott come back, i would hope for them to be back for a couple season games before playoffs to get their legs back a bit.

I like Gauthier on the 4th line (even though that whole line was trash last night, but it happens), and Ennis has been a signing that paid off and brown i would say is in his last year as a leaf, mainly because on a team like this you can't spend over 5-6M total for your 4th line and 3rd d pairing.


I really like Moore, think there's lots of upside with him and a great contract for next 2 years and Petan has an extremely small sample size at a Meh grade but its too small to make assumptions, may have better games if he was with the club longer and had more consistent playing time.
