Description

I know I am a biased devils fan who doesn't like the rangers at all. But what you guys need is to build off the draft. What you don't know is that your centre depth is stacked. Z Chytil and Lias Andersson is a great centre depth punch. I can definitely see Chytil as a 1st line. Lias is a push but 2nd line centre for sure. DO NOT GO FOR PANARIN. You guys have a future with drafting Kakko and Kravtsov. Mika is the player you are drafting around currently. This team isn't a playoff team and Panarin is gonna want a lot. I say stay put this offseason. Yes rebuilds are frustrating. I'm not telling you it's going to be easy though. I'm telling you it's gonna be worth it. Let's say you sign Panarin to a 7 year 11 mill deal (most likely his cap scenario.) You will eventually have to sign Lias, Chytil, Skeji, Kravtsov, Kakko, and Buchneivich. Again you may not wanna hear from a Devils fan who wishes you guys wouldn't succeed because we are big time rivals, BUT I'm telling you that staying put is the best thing that will happen to this team. Then when you guys start building up, potentially drafting Byfield or Lafreniere, you guys can go for the free agents and your saving cap without signing Panarin. Trouba may be hard to go for though as well. DO NOT SIGN PANARIN though. Statistically, this signing makes 0 sense for this organization.
