Description

I know putting Ryan Poehling in the AHL is an unpopular opinion but I think it will benefit his development. Looking at players like Rantanen and Boeser, who spent a year in the AHL and then destroyed the NHL the next year, it only makes sense. He will play top minutes and will take a spot in 2020-2021. Same thing with Josh Brook, Alexander Romanov, Ryan Suzuki and Cayden Primeau among others. I also hope that the Habs will trade up to take Thomas Harley at around 10.

Romanov can’t come to the NHL until the end of next season. there’s no reason to sign Ylonen, if he doesn’t make the roster out of camp, he has to go back to Finland, it’s a waste of time and his energy to come, get used to the time difference for 2 weeks and then travel back to Finland for his team. Schenn is likely staying in VAN and I don’t believe they have any interest in moving their pick.
