1 week in and Arizona, Calgary, Colorado, Minnesota, Montreal, and the NY Islanders are the only teams without any trades made (and Quebec unless you count expansion trades).

Who else is left QBC did the expansion johnsson trade

I was saying if you don't count expansion trades, but they can't really make any other trades yet. Now the only teams with no trades made are Colorado and NYI.

I think its not fair counting COL since Mike was on vacation during trades week pre-expo-draft. Also, NYI was in a hockey tournament all weekend on the deadline, so half the week was missing for them in preparations too. For the 1st week, that many teams involved in trades is a good sign for September!

It doesn't matter. They haven't made any trades. That's just a fact. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that they haven't. I was actually hoping that we wouldn't see as much trade action as the first 3 years. It's not that I don't want trades, I just prefer when it doesn't get too crazy. But I think i'm in the minority. I don't really care either way, just pointing out something I noticed.

I think "advisor" is what they call Nate for QBC.

Also, I guess MTL's deal got reversed. So, Montreal, Colorado, and NY Islanders.

MTL made a trade with QBC to land Demko for their 2019 1st round pick (MTL)

Does that count? It's an expansion deal. Doesn't matter though.

It would. Because of the deal with Vancouver being reversed, Demko was the pick from Vancouver, and I acquired him.

For the sake of not hoarding and disrupting the the BOG message Thread, I've decided to carry on the topic and discussions of draft picks in our v4 game with pre-existing conditions that would be active since May 10th, 2019. To ensure any of these conditions are active in our v4 GM Game, check the date on the conditions of that draft pick from any trades before May 10th, 2019:

Here are the list of draft picks for each year associate:
2019 Draft Picks
2020 Draft Picks
2021 Draft Picks

You can scroll through each year and read each conditional pick's associated conditions if they apply to your Team's v4 GM Game page.

Alternatively, you can just click on the Team Logo you happen to GM in v4 here:

Anaheim Ducks Arizona Coyotes Boston Bruins Buffalo Sabres Calgary Flames Carolina Hurricanes Chicago Blackhawks Colorado Avalanche Columbus Blue Jackets Dallas Stars Detroit Red Wings Edmonton Oilers Florida Panthers Los Angeles Kings Minnesota Wild Montreal Canadiens Nashville Predators New Jersey Devils New York Islanders New York Rangers Ottawa Senators Philadelphia Flyers Pittsburgh Penguins San Jose Sharks St. Louis Blues Tampa Bay Lightning Toronto Maple Leafs Vancouver Canucks Vegas Golden Knights Washington Capitals Winnipeg Jets

In the team pages linked to these logos above, you can find any draft pick from 2019-2021 that have any asterisks * next to them, and click on them. This will bring up the conditions associated to that pick from the draft pick year page that's associated.

To help fast track info on these conditions for GMs, here are conditions that are still active since May 10th, 2019 in our GM Game v4:

2019 San Jose Sharks 4th round pick acquired by the Buffalo Sabres:
Conditions: "San Jose has the option to retain the 2019 4th round pick. If they retain the 2019 4th, Buffalo receives a 2020 3rd round pick instead."

2020 Columbus Blue Jackets 1st round pick owned by the Columbus Blue Jackets:
Conditions: "If Duchene re-signs with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Ottawa will receive Columbus' 2020 1st round pick. If Duchene does not re-sign with Columbus, no pick is exchanged."

2020 New York Rangers 2nd round pick owned by the New York Rangers and the 2020 New York Rangers 3rd round pick acquired by the Carolina Hurricanes:
Conditions: "If Adam Fox plays in 30 games in the 2019-20 season, the 2020 3rd round pick will become a 2020 2nd round pick"*
CAR would return the 2020 (NYR) 3rd round pick to NYR in exchange for the 2020 (NYR) 2nd round pick if Adam Fox plays 30 games played in this coming regular season and playoffs combined.

2020 Florida Panthers 6th round pick acquired by the Colorado Avalanche:
Conditions: "If Brassard signs an extension with Colorado Avalanche, no pick is transferred."

2020 Dalas Stars 1st round pick owned by the Dallas Stars and the 2020 Dalas Stars 3rd round pick acquired by the New York Rangers:
Conditions: "The Dallas Stars' 2020 conditional 3rd round pick becomes a 2020 1st round pick if the Dallas Stars re-sign Zuccarello"*
NYR would return the 2020 (DAL) 3rd round pick to DAL in exchange for the 2020 (DAL) 1st round pick if Zuccarello is signed by the Dallas Stars in 2019.

2020 Edmonton Oilers 7th round picks acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs:
Conditions: "Unknown"* (if not known from May 10th, 2019, these conditions are considered void).

2021 San Jose Sharks 2nd round pick owned by the San Jose Sharks:

Proactively mentioning this - overseas signings like, say, Joakim Nygard, are not eligible to be signed until after the free agency period. These players will be in the pool of UFAs to bid on, unless their rights are owned by an NHL (in which case, that team may sign them at any time).

How will signings for players like Oliwer Kaski that require an ELC be done?

So, i think i have to give up the 2019 4th to Buffalo because the 2020 3rd is going to Detroit.
