Description
First, I'd like to say I don't think this is realistic. I just throw some ideas together.

I saw a NYI fan propose a 1v1 Tatar-Leddy trade. I imagine NYI are looking to sign some wingers because some of their best wingers will quit this summer. I actually thought it was at the advantage of MTL, so I added Juulsen and Peca to make it work.

Then, I wanted to have a good pick in exchange of wingers, so I checked which team had high pick and a need of wingers. This is why I proposed the Byron-Drouin-2nd-3rd for 4th overall pick.

I think Petry-Letang is not possible because of the NTC. BUT, maybe he would accept for MTL because it's where he's born and Penguins are not the contenders the were before. They may want to make the team younger and have some cap space. They also get a 2nd.

Then, I signed Panarin for what's he's worth, 10M$. He's taking Drouin's roster spot.

Panarin - Domi - Shaw
Good 1st line IMO

Suzuki - Danault - Gallagher
Looks like the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher line of last year, but with Suzuki who's clearly ready for the NHL.

Lehkonen-Kotkaniemi-Armia
The Finn line, which I think can only be better than last year

4th line whatever...

Leddy-Letang
I think this is a real 1st pair until younger defensemen are ready,

Mete - Weber
This is a good 2nd pair

Kulak - Folin
Is a ok 3rd pair.

Price - Lindgren

nick leddy is not worth that at all. if lee and eberle both leave, then they'd be in desperate need of a winger because they're ready to start competing again, and if it's just 1 for 1 tatar and leddy I'd still put it in the islanders favor.
Getting rid of all three byron tatar and drouin makes your winger depth decrease by a large margin (although I do really like the Colorado trade) so if that trade happens then you should very much consider keeping tatar around.
I really like the panarin signing and the fact you put suzuki high in the lineup

Thanks for the comments. I thought Nick Leddy was their best Defenseman. Maybe he's not that good. MTL can keep Juulsen.
I know it decreases my winger depth, but I hate to see on the fourth line Lehkonen (3rd), Byron (3rd), Suzuki (2nd) or Shaw (1st-2nd-3rd line grit guy). Plus, I think Domi will eventually move to the wing because KK, Poehling, Suzuki and Danault are natural centres.
Finally, I also like to sign Panarin because with him, we're sure to have an elite player. I'm not sure Drouin will become as good as Panarin. Suzuki is clearly ready for the NHL and putting him on the bottom 6 is a bad idea.
