I think it’ll be impossible to keep Pavelski, he will walk this year. Nyquist maybe takes a discount to stay because he just had a child and he said he loved it playing with the Sharks and the city, he is also close friends with EK65. Labanc and Meier need to sign relatively team friendly contracts with shorter term and potentially performance bonus laden to sweeten the deal. At the Moment Korenar is backup but a thought I have is trading Labanc to NYI while his stock is still at its highest for a guy like Sorokin and a couple of picks. But for now Keeping Labanc and seeing how Korenar or Bibeau handle backup action. Lucky thing for the sharks is that the AHL team is in the same building so call-ups to swap guys in and out are really easy. Viel is on my opening night roster for added toughness as the first two games are against the GK who are clearly going to be out for blood. Radil will slot back in after game one.
