what about Glendening and Svech as a package for a starting point for Gusev and Reeves then?

I could see that being a good deal, issue is Det really isnt ready to compete yet and Gusev is that talent that I feel like should go to another team.

That being said if the deal was right having Gus on a line with Larkin and Matha would be amazing

If he gets a 2-3 yr contract and can produce, he could be the Vet of the crew. lol. They'll still be bad next year and he would have tons of ice time to prove he can play in the league.

but this is all depending on what Stevie sees in Svech and some of the others coming up. He could still turn out to be healthy and productive.

Yep...you gotta give him a full yr of health before judging... especially kids... otherwise you're the Oilers..lol..u don't trade kids til you get a feel for type player they are....AND wings have no need or interest in Reeves at this point ..nor his cap hit unless it gets a sweetener like gusev for the cap dump alone..
