why spend assets on a rookey C, might aswell give the opportunity to their own prospect like Chytil instead imo, agree that rangers need to add a 2C but they should spend their assets on a more proven one if they gona make a trade for it, sure Howden and Lindgren are not the vital pieces in rangers but its just poor asset management to do this.

I see it more so as upgrading from Howden to Roslovic. They're similar in age, but Roslovic is a much better player (especially when you look at the underlying stats) who can not only help the team now, but be around for years to come. Obviously in this scenario the cost of that upgrade is Lindgren, but I don't see him being a long term piece for the Rangers seeing as there's so many players in front of him in the depth charts (plus when I met him he was a total prick) so I would be too upset about losing him.
