No from NYR on Gusev trade. We aren’t at the pointt yet to start trading high end draft picks. And here’s ko garauntee Gusev is good in the NHL.

Chytil is right, no way we trade a 1st and 2nd, this team is trying to build through the draft. I don't see this team trading a 1st until we are a true contender and are a piece away. Gusev is not that piece nor are we a contender.

The Colorado trade is very unlikely however if the rangers could find a team that would take the return then its a home run, also who wouldn't want the KHL MVP on their team?

I'd love to have Gusev and don't think he would be as expensive as a 1st. Problem is we don't have cap room and they may be looking to dump salary on whoever takes Gusev. If we end up moving Vlad and Kreider, plus a buyout of Smith then we could explore Gusev if he is still available.

If they make the moves though it is feasible. His cap hit is included in the number above. Its completely doable within the cap restraints.
