If they get Stamkos, and Vesey - id rather them trade Marchand then Krejci. Either way, I'm starting to think this Stamkos talk may be legit.

That thinking just doesn't make sense.

Why not? Marchand's value is as high as it ever has been, and with Stamkos' contract, it will make it difficult to resign Marchand next year.

Because you don't need to keep 3 centers when they're going to have 12.5. 7.25 and 6.8 cap hits. Does that make an ounce of sense? Keep krejci and move Marchand when Brad is more than likely not going to get more than krejci does right now. Marchand will come in and be 6.5-7 million per. With this mock, the Bruins will have plenty of money to resign him and keep stamkos.

I'll never understand anyone wanting to move the only player on the team who can score goals. He's such an asset it's ridiculous. Keep the asset for once.

I just think it'll be difficult to find a trade partner for Krecji. His no movement clause, and contract will make it difficult to move him. And he can play right wing - no need to keep him at C.

Yeah, that's where we disagree. I get the NMC, but i don't think his contract makes him immovable. He's a #1 center, who's good for 65+ points a year. He plays a good two-way game, and is signed for 5? more years at 7.25. Cap should continue to go up. He's a solid player, and some team would take him. Marchand definitely will not cost over 7.5 million next contract. I get it, he scored 37 but it's just not going to happen. He'll get a bergeron contract, i feel like. And I take Marchand over Krejci 10/10 especially if they're both on the wing. Krejci is really not suited to play the wing.

I don't entirely disagree with you, but I see Krejci as a #1 center for the bottom half of the league. I see him as more as a top end #2 center. But if they can move Krecji for a good dman, I am all for moving him over Marchand. I just see his situation as being more difficult to find a trade partner. I think a team with a dman the Bruins want (Fowler or Shattenkirk) would look at Krejci's contract and upside, and would rather trade Fowler or Shatt for a younger guy plus a pick or two.
