Well for starters you traded away one of the best goalies in the league and then offer sheeted a bunch of mooks.

Frederick Anderson and Carey Price have roughly the same save percentage. Frederick Anderson is also younger and on a much better contract. As for your "then offer sheeted a bunch of mooks" comment, there was no offer sheet made here. Mitch Marner was a sign and trade. He also had 94 points last season which would make him the highest scorer on Montreal by 22 points. I really doubt you have any statistics to support your argument.

Marner should demand a trade ... & sign deal to play in Europe until Leafs comply

Gallagher = 1st + 2nd + 3rd
Lehkonen = 2nd + 3rd

I think that is being too optimistic in terms of what the Habs could get on a return. I put together a more realistic trade.

I glossed over the random 6th and 7th rounders and assumed it was RFA offer sheet compensation. After taking a closer look, you sold Edmonton a bunch of mooks for a package of garbage late rounders. And I did neglect to properly roast you for signing a 37, a 39 and a 40 year old and then using a straight face to call this a contending team. My apologies for missing all of that earlier, I hope I did not offend.

You are demonstrating ageism with your comment. These players may be older than other players in their "prime" but that does not mean they are unable to produce. Joe Thornton had 51 points last year in 73 games. Clayton Keller puts up 47 points in 82 games and nobody bats an eye at the ridiculous 8yr/57 200 000 contract given to him. Joe Thornton is a much better value player. Don't old shame him.

Almost as "deep" as your username. Clever use of the V instead of the U. Grab a philly cheese steak, kid.
