Although we want to be rid of Melker, we don't need a replacement Melker in Jarnkrok. This doesn't improve the team

Jarnkrok is a better skater and has a better shot. He can also play in the top 9 and has experience at center although he is a better winger. He had 3 straight 30 point seasons prior to last year where he only put up 26. Playing stable minutes in the top 6, there is no reason he can't put up 35-45 points while being a versatile option that can play all 3 forward positions. If you think that's anything close to melkar then you're sadly mistaken.

Yeah anyways no matter what he is he doesnt belong on a contenders first or second line, so hard pass on giving up this much for him
