Things out of my control

Created by: MNBassman

Initial Creation Date: Sep. 19, 2019

Description
For the record, I would have traded Spurgeon. I certainly would not have given him a 7 year contract (first dent in the armor, Bill). However, he is a great player and I have to plan on him being here, so...here are some ideas for the 20-21 season. At least one forward, if not two need to be traded. I also think the writing is on the wall for Brodin - the Wild simply have too much $ invested in their blue line now. If you don’t like my moves, please critique them and offer other ideas.
P.S. Doing this roster has only made me even more annoyed at the Zuccarello signing! Another thing out of my control...

I can't imagine getting rid of the youth on the roster. Also Seeler can't handle top 4 duties.

I agree about moving youth, but I don’t see Parise or Zuccarello as tradable, and something clearly needs to be done to break up the log jam of left-shot wingers on this team.
Seeler would be fine if they would find another solid 2nd/3rd pairing D to absorb some minutes...basically meaning they would have 2 - 3rd pairing LHDs to play matchups with based on the situation.
