Description

Nielsen rumored to be going to Detroit by Dreger, not sure how many years Holland will give him.

Update: Re-signed Helm.

Wings and Rangers are both fed up with some of their high paid defensemen - so why not try a change of scenery between the teams? Rangers retain $700k to even out the cap, Wings add Jensen (or another D prospect) to sweeten the deal. Note: Wings do not honor his NMC, therefore don't have to protect him next summer.

7th defenseman spot covered by any of Russo, Sproul, or Ouellet that win the spot in camp.
