I'd be curious to see if they try Andersson up with Gio and bring down Brodie to balance the pairings as they won't likely won't get the 3M + Brodano match up against Colorado's top line on the road. Another idea I'd try is flipping Andersson and Hamonic to give Kylington a defensive minded veteran (again balancing the pairings a bit).

I don't think Peters is going to be doing a ton of line juggling to start the season. I'd expect the third pairing to play around that 13-15 minute mark, and looking for the Backs line to be out there for faceoffs when the third pairing is out there.

Andersson is probably the better defender out of him and Brodie, so would definitley make more sense to go Hanifin/Andersson and Kylington/Hamonic, if that third pairing is that bad.

But I would be surprised to see a bunch of line switching in the first game of the season, especially when Peters isn't known to do it much in general. Think it's going to be seeing how Kylington looks over the first 10 or so games, can't hide him from top players for entire games.

Andersson was better than Brodie last season when with Gio and by all accounts they had him slotted with Gio all summer. The Kadri trade that fell through would have affirmed that. I think having Andersson on the third pairing is to balance the pairings because Brodie and Kylington would be a nightmare defensively.

Exactly my point. I'm not saying Ras can't play top 4. I'm saying Brods and Kylington is definitely a bad pairing idea. Switching Hammer and Ras is an idea, but I definitely think Peters wants to keep Hanifin and Hammer together.
