I'm with you, lets sign wisniewski for cheap and use him as a PP qb. Good signing with versteeg but are you forgetting about our 4th pick jesse puljujarvi? Hes NHL ready and will most likely make the team out of TC ,if not he'll be called up before christmas since he can play in the AHL.

For Puljujarvi, I would start him in the ahl and have him as a replacement for yak (or Ebs if they choose to trade him). I don't see a trade happening with yak at this point in summer, his trade value is low. Trade him by Christmas or the deadline and have "Pool-party" replace him after getting accustomed to North American hockey. I think having a player like Versteeg be able to play any side/up and down the line to protect for poor or slow performances (puljujarvi, yak, maroon etc) would be good for this lineup. I think I may be off on the dollar figures for the ufa signings.
