I'd like to see Hudler on that contract, but I don't see the Canucks sending Virtanen to the minors next year. His speed and size is definitely needed in this lineup. To be fair, I'm not sure how the Canucks add any extra bodies without turfing someone, so that could definitely make sense, but I'd hope for them to be able to move one of Dorsett, Burrows or Hansen (for a decent return) to make room for Virtanen in the lineup. Otherwise I'd see him taking Rodin's spot in the lineup and having Hudler flip to the left side.
