think you are a little light on the offer to Edm. the tough thing about moving Staal or G is that they would have to be protected in the expansion draft. Maybe they can find a home for one of them if they eat salary.

Girardi's NMC becomes a modified NTC before the expansion draft. I've heard that he will not need to be protected, though it's still a bit of a grey area. J.T. Miller is an upgrade at wing for Edmonton and getting Pouliot's contract off the books almost makes up for taking on Girardi. I agree, it might be a little light, but I think it's within the realm of possibility.
