im curious because ive seen him in a fair bit of trade mocks, why trade georgiev??? hes a real good 23 year old goalie and hank aint hank anymore

The reason is that Lundqvist isn't going anywhere for this and next season. The real problem is that Igor Shesterkin is the best goalie in the AHL and it is widely believed that he is first better than Georgiev and if he doesn't make the team next year that he is going to go back to the NHL. Which puts NYR in a very odd situation.

oh ok, id look at moving hank myself, its tough but probably better then moving a young keeper with success
