Description

I think Jensen has to go and Brodin could be that guy. Puck mobility as well as a decent defender. He at least has a plus 11while Jensen is in the minus.

Del Zotto is just for the depth defenseman. It could be any of those 6/7 guys just for extra depth.

Kovalchuck gets his chance to chase a cup with a better team than Montreal and he gets to join his fellow country men. Boyd can step into that 3rd line role next season if they win the cup and Kovalchuk leaves.

Please let me know if you would trade someone else or adjust the trades I have:) I am just playing around without trying to be too unrealistic.

Brodin is a lot, lot, lot, lot more than a, “decent defender” - he’s an elite defender and a terrific player. Start with your 2020 1st, and then add Connor McMichael and something else.

So Minnesota downgrades from Brodin to Jensen? Yeah don't think so, No way the Wild accept that deal.

DiehardRedWingsFan58 They get Djoos back, so it is not just Jensen. A higher pick maybe the better option.

And for MNBassman, I don't think he is worth Connor McMichael and a 1st. That is way too pricey for a middle 2 defenseman (Top 4). Maybe Fijalby or Sutter or Clark and a 1st/2nd? I don't watch a lot of Wild games, so this is what I thought was decent for what I've seen/heard about him. I appreciate your thoughts!
