high price to pay but IMO Leon would be worth it in long run.

I think it's a hell of a price for Jackets to pay for Draisaitl but if he becomes the player a lot of people believe he will I think it's a price that jackets would be happy with.

I think it's a hell of a price for Jackets to pay for Draisaitl but if he becomes the player a lot of people believe he will I think it's a price that jackets would be happy with.
Draisaitl and Wennberg both struggled in their rookie years and followed up with a great sophomore campaign, yes Draisaitl cooled down after a hot start, and Wennberg took off later on, but I feel that's mostly to do with Klefbom going down and acquiring Jones. Wennberg clearly had better teammates with him on the ice. Savard is the real prize for Edmonton, but I don't feel like he's absolutely fantastic, just a good player is all. Fayne at less than $2mill a year, for 2 years isn't that bad.
