Description

Before going off on bouch being a scratch that’s only for the start of the season work him into greens spot with Jones. If season starts in January I see jones and bouch taking 2nd pairing by end of February.
I know lots will probably say keep bear but expansion draft comes into play instead of risking loosing one of jones or bear I moved bear to fill 3c. Sucks to loose I completely agree. Nurse for debrusk is also expansion related. I only see this being possible if chara decides to hang up his skates after this season. I’m not going to debate why the oldest guy in the league might retire rather than play a season that won’t start till January and likely run threw the summer. I know Boston is high on a few prospects but to be fair are those prospects ready to fill that type of role that soon. Panthers trade I can see them using neal as a cheaper replacement for Hoffman in current dollars and term.

Larsson a ufa. You dont have to protect him. You can baisclly make an agreemnet with saying you will leave him open and if seattle selects him, he can come back in FA
The proper one would be protecting klef, nurse and bear

If larsson can be protected by a handshake agreement I’m for it but I don’t think that’s something should expect or count on.

Great versatility plays both sides can slide in up and down lineup. Probably get him for near league min for depth I wouldn’t think twice.

How much more? He seems really happy in Edmonton and gets along with the team very well I’m not sure anyone would offer enough for him to leave.
