Description

Vancouver trade seems to be sensible for both teams cap situations/positional needs. Let me know who says no/what each team would need to add. Perhaps if you're giving up Marner you wouldn't need to give up Dermott.

Not entirely sure what Stecher and Virtanen would re-up for but I feel like it'd be in that ballpark.

I doubt Vancouver would want to give up Stecher if they're not resigning Tanev but it seems like the type of player/salary Toronto would want to take on, so you could fill the Tanev spot with several examples.

Vancouver declines, the difference between Marner and Boeser isn't worth an extra 5+mil in cap space plus Virtanen is a 20 goal scorer who can play up and down the lineup. They also have no need for LD because they're set with Hughes, Edler, and Juolevi. I'd be open to trading Stecher but it would have to be for a pick or something.

As a Canucks fan I think the value is fair but Boeser and Pettersson have an amazing relationship so I don’t know if it’s worth it
