What's the Wennberg thing? Seen it a lot lately on this site, is he being bought out?

Reports that he might get bought out by the jackets bc his buy out isn’t so bad for them would be a great add for us but who knows. They prob wouldn’t trade for Malkin if they did do this

Cool, thanks for the update on him, as for the Malkin thing, it'd be great for the blue shirts to acquire him, but I'm sure you would have to throw in a 1st rather than Andersson, Malkin IMO is still a really great player and could produce really well, especially with the bread man and Buchy, that line would be phenomenal, even if Malkin is aging

Yes, I do believe that it would be great for the Jackets to create some cap space, but if they want to create some space, I'd say they should trade Savard and try to get some picks back or a decent prospect back, either a bottom 6 forward or a bottom 4 defenceman, they've already got really good goalie prospects, pretty good forward prospects, I think they should look for a decent defenceman who can play up and down the lineup, reason being for a Savard trade is that he is aging and will not be as good and he does have a pretty big cap hit that I feel he isn't worth that, that's just my opinion though

Honestly the new york rangers proposals have been a complete embarrassment today. This is so far off value it’s laughable. Kreider and Strome probably don’t get you Rust and Murray and Lias has basically no value.
