Like we do have 35 mil in cap space next year so it isn't like we dont have the ability to extend him.

Not really. That's without DeBrusk and Grzelcyk who are RFAs this year. Kase is RFA/Palmieri UFA in this case.
Krejci and Rask. Halak, Chara, Martinez. Carlo RFA also.

So best-case, there's about $15M.

True, I forgot they were signed.

I guess it depends on if Palmieri wants to re-sign or not. It's not guaranteed.

Yeah I get that, it’s definitely risky and idk what the RW UFA market looks like next year but the lineup top to bottom I think is slightly improved from last year, and gives us 3 really good forward lines to roll out. Worth the risk imo
