There’s so many options for Keefe to throw out there. I’m a little sceptical about the top line, but time will tell. From what we’ve seen from keefe so far, we know lines will be juggled. Judging from the lines at camp, I think it’s fair to assume the top line will be protected by more regular offensive zone starts. Maybe Thornton’s ice time is protected by rotating him and Hyman throughout a game depending on the situation (leading/trailing, ozone/dzone). I do really like the idea of a more defensive minded third line that isn’t afraid of digging in the corners. I think Boyd will surprise lots of people and hoping that a full offseason in Toronto after a taste of nhl hockey will propel little Nicky into the lineup.
The best hockey tournament in the world has come to a bitter end but more hockey is around the corner folks. Hope your as jazzed as I am.
