I dont see RNH being available. Minnesota has a tough call on Dumba, but I personally think they will expose some of their young forwards rather than Dumba.

As others have said, Burakovsky likely not available as well.

Some other things I think about is teams like Vancouver maybe giving up a 1st round pick for Seattle to take a guy like Erikson? Obviously you cant account for that here, but I think there is lots of opportunity for Seattle to take on cap and recieve picks as payments like Vegas did.

Vancouver (Eriksson) / Tampa (Johnson, or others...) / Chicago (Seabrook, or others...) / Islanders (Ladd) / Jets (Little)

If they even take 2 or 3 of those guys they can get a great prospect pool started.


As written in my description, RNH is signed as UFA.

And yeah for sure there'll be deals with some teams but it's quite hard to predict it here

Well if I have to choose players, for sure I'll avoid bad contracts.

Yeah I know there will be deals with teams that want to get rid of bad contracts, but it's kind of hard to predict this here

The only way for them to protect him is with the 8FD format. Otherwise Suter, Spurgeon and Brodin are already protected with their NMC.
If they chose 8FD format, they can only protect 2 forwards out of Parise and Zucc. But yeah this is possible.
