Winnipeg has mended ties with Trouba, so he's off the block now. Even if he were back on the block, Cheveldayoff would want a young defenseman who's ineligible for the expansion draft. Not even mentioning Ceci's cliff diving trade value, it's assumed that Winnipeg would want to keep whatever defenseman they trade for.
