Dude Phillip Danault already turned down a $5,000,000x6 to stays with the Habs, Noway he signs that lowball offer. on the Jack Eichel trade outside of Suzuki it's pretty meh.

Stop being a homer please . Eichel is going to take more then Suzuki plus spare parts plus a lottery protected first . You have to figure Suzuki , and either Guhlie or Caufield plus a pick or two might get you Eichel ( top 5 center in the league under 25 )

He has not scored a goal since last february or march . If he did turn down that deal the habs are very lucky . You do not give 5 million to a center that has cement hands and limited offence no matter how good he is at faceoffs and on the PK

Danault is probably out of Montreal. He in fact has'nt scored a goal for more than one year now exept one goal during the playoffs. Probably the weakiest shot in the league.
He will fire his agent and he will be lucky if he gets the half of what he got offered last summer.
