Quick trade doesn't make sense. He's not an upgrade while also being older with a larger contract. Ekholm trade is fine.

idk if they'll take liljegren alone, it might take robertson or a combo of liljegren and amirov. especially with other teams in the hunt

I think unless Toronto wins the cup this year, that quick trade is gonna get ugly in a hurry

The Quick trade makes sense if Dubas is in desperation mode which to some of the optics, is fair to say. I’ve heard some insiders say that a good deal of the first round exits can be placed on Anderson. Quick has always been a big game player and his stats are actually better in the playoffs than in the regular season. If he has anything left than he could possibly be a difference maker for a stacked team like Toronto. If LA retains some of his salary too then that’s a win for their team with such top heavy contracts. It also seems like Toronto isn’t keen on resigning Anderson but I could be wrong. Just have to wait and see it appears
