recency bias Kubalik just made it to the NHL last year but he is better then MacKinnon Ya like hell The only player i could see being better then Mackinnon But Probably not is Barkov who has been Very consistent throughout the years also Jake Guentzel at number one nah this whole list is screwed MacKinnon still goes number 1 without a doubt in my mind

Yes you're very right. My model is flawed because it's calculated on average with the amount of seasons played. Kubalik and Guentzel were older and didn't really went through the same struggles as 18 yo MacKinnon.
