Description

Three things here.

1. Really intrigued with the idea of Carter playing the right side with Sid and Guentzel, as we all know Rust works so why not try something different while you have this cushion.

2. I also am intrigued with using 2 powerplays I honestly don't like doing that and never have been a proponent of doing that in the past however this could be something very sneaky given our personnel at the time that we could use as a duel threat.

3. Keep flipping ERod and Zahorna on the 3rd line and see who earns it. McCann and Zucker have shown more chemistry than Zucker ever did with Geno so they need to explore that as a playoff option as well.

Like I said I don't think obviously anything needs to be set in stone but you have some time/space to tinker so why not do it now instead of hoping that you have something in the postseason when things breakdown. At the end of the day we all know this league comes down to Goaltending so hopefully for the Pens sake one of those 2 gets white hot.

you make a good point with trying carter with the top line, they play buffalo this weekend and jersey next week so it'd be a good a time as any. carter's a veteran and has been adaptable throughout his career so i think he'll be able to fly with sid, geno, or mccann

ya and yesterday honestly i thought it was a good all around game but hart just happened to be playing his best hockey of the season lol. fully healthy this team will be a problem and lineup flexibility helps

Yeah that was all Hart yesterday sucks because they decided to go with Elliott the night before against Washington. I agree though like what I saw with Carter.
